    Technical data of KLEIBERIT 583.6:

Base: STP - Silane Terminated Polymers
    Density: ~1.8 g/cm3
    Available colours: beige
Consistency: paste-like, spreads well and holds its shape
    Bonding temperature: +15 °C ... +25 °C
Time to film formation (open time): ~ 45- 60 minutes (depending on ambient humidity and temperature)
Setting rate: at 20°C and 50% relative humidity: >3mm per day.
Final bond strength: after 48 hours
    Shore A hardness: 68

    Surface:

The surface must comply with all norms and regulations. The surface must be dry, not cold, strong, well load-bearing, clean and dust-free.
The following standards and technical advice are particularly recommended: DIN 18356 Laying parquet floors, DIN EN Parquet and wooden floor, TKB Technical Briefing ‘Surface Preparation and Assessment For Laying Parquet and Floor Coverings’, TKB Technical Briefing ‘Laying Parquet’

If the levelling base layer is dust-free, KLEIBERIT 583.6 can be applied immediately without surface priming.

    Bonding:

Read the safety data sheets before bonding.

    • Apply the adhesive directly to the substrate using the appropriate toothed spatula. Lay the parquet on the freshly applied glue by pushing the board slightly and pressing it into place. Ensure good contact of the wrong side of the parquet with the adhesive. Installation time on applied adhesive is about 45-60 minutes.
    • The best operating temperatures are between 15°C and 25°C. Walking is possible after 24 hours. The lower temperature of the adhesive and the environment increases the viscosity of the adhesive and slows down the curing process. The adhesive must be acclimatised.
    • Apply as much glue as you can lay the floor in 30 minutes. Lay the parquet on fresh glue without waiting. Bonded parquet can be processed after 48 hours.

    Please note:

    • Fumed wood, such as fumed oak, must be ammonia-free. Wood with a high oil content, such as exotic woods, must be checked for suitability for gluing.
    • The parquet must be acclimatised and have a humidity of 7%-11% .

    Please note the following parameters:

    • Maximum relative humidity: 65%
    • Base temperature: +15°C - +25°C
    • Minimum adhesive temperature: 15°C

    Recommended adhesive application quantity:

    • Serrated spatula B3: 800 – 900 g/m2
    • Serrated spatula B11: 900 – 1200 g/m2

    Cleaning:

Uncured adhesives from tools and parquet can be cleaned with a cleaner KLEIBERIT 820.0. Hardened adhesives can only be cleaned mechanically.
