Ipe is a very popular species in many countries (especially France and Italy). Medienos Colour – šviesiai ruda, kai kada su žalsvu atspalviu, pereinančiu į tamsiai rudą šokoladinę spalvą. The seven-leaved balsam tree has a natural high resistance and strength.
Origin: South America
Use: Pramoninių statinių ir dekoratyvinėms grindims, įrankių kotams, baldams, vidaus ir išorės apdailos staliaus dirbiniams gaminti, uostų statiniams, tiltams statyti.
Colour: Light brown, sometimes with a greenish tinge to dark chocolate brown
Height of tree: up to 30 m.

Resistance: Very high resistance to decay and insects, high resistance to changes in weather conditions
