    Ipe is a very popular species in many countries (especially France and Italy). The colour of the wood is light brown, sometimes with a greenish tint, changing to a dark brown chocolate colour. The seven-leaved balsam tree has a natural high resistance and strength.

    Origin: South America

    Use: For industrial and decorative floors, tool handles, furniture, interior and exterior carpentry, port structures, and bridges.
